Did you know...

The earliest vivariums were called Wardian cases, developed by Dr. Nathan Ward.  They were first used to protect plants on long over seas  voyages.  From these early glass boxes, modern vivariums have evolved to provide an appropriate environment for a wide range of amphibians and reptiles.
